Scott Long has worked extensively in the Breast Cancer Device Market for the past 30 years beginning with Biopsys Medical, the pioneering company in the vacuum-assisted Breast Biopsy Market in Sales before moving into Sales Leadership with Ethicon Endo-Surgery/Johnson & Johnson post-acquisition.
He has worked in various Senior Level Sales Management roles with a focus on venture capital-backed Start-Up Breast Care companies, all of which eventually had successful exits. He has a proven track record in the recruitment of top-tier Sales Talent and coaching them to peak performance while also driving Revenue in customer-facing Key Account roles.
In his most recent successful exit, he served as Vice-President of New Business Development for Focal Therapeutics, Inc. which was acquired by Hologic, Inc.
In his earlier career he had successful stints with Baxter Healthcare, St. Jude Medical and Scimed/Boston Scientific.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Indiana University.
