Overview

Dr. Jordan Moon will present insights on the role of body composition for monitoring key health indicators and discuss the use of bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) technology as a tool for accurate, personalized assessment of body composition to help support patient care.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the impact of fluid shifts and water compartment dynamics on human health and explain why monitoring these changes is essential for accurate assessment and clinical decision-making
  • Describe how bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) technology provides precise, non-invasive measurement of fluid compartments and compare its accuracy and clinical advantages to traditional methods such as BMI and DXA
  • Interpret BIS-derived body composition data and learn how to use it to help support clinical decision-making for improved patient care
