Maureen McBeth
Maureen McBeth, MPT, CLT-LANA is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist – Lymphology Association of North America. She has over 24 years experience as a physical therapist, specializing in lymphedema and cancer rehabilitation. Her introduction to BIS dates back to 2004, when she started working with the SFB7 research device. She worked in the hospital-based setting until April of 2017, when she started her consulting firm geared toward creating the knowledge base and driving the social connections to increase the adoption of new technology and clinical practice guidelines for prospective surveillance of cancer related lymphedema. She continues to see patients in a community-based private practice setting and regularly speaks at conferences and continuing education programs. She is a member of the APTA and is the vice-chair of the Lymphatic Disorders Special Interest Group of the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy. Maureen has also been involved in a long-term volunteer project to help advance lymphedema care in Cali, Colombia, and supports the many lymphatic advocacy efforts in the US.
