Peggy Brooker
Chief Financial Officer
Peggy Brooker joined ImpediMed in November 2009 as the Vice President of Global Finance and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in October 2010. Ms. Brooker brings more than 28 years of financial experience to her position from publicly traded companies in insurance, financial services, manufacturing, retail products and education.Peggy's experience covers audit, internal control and SOX 404 implementation, IFRS, SEC reporting, ASX and ASIC reporting, governmental accounting and reporting, IPOs, enterprise risk management, M&A, share-based compensation, sales and marketing, process reengineering, and corporate governance issues as well as implementing emerging accounting issues.
Peggy was a Partner of Ernst & Young LLP in the U. S. and a Principal in Ernst & Young Australia. Her international experience encompasses both domestic and global companies including U.S., Australian, European and the Pacific Rim while working in the Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Irvine and Sydney, Australia practice offices of Ernst & Young. She has served as engagement partner to public and private companies with revenues in excess of $1B. Her career began in Los Angeles for Ernst & Young LLP in the 1980’s and she held successively responsible positions, both in the U.S. and Australia.
In addition to Ernst & Young, Peggy has spent several years in industry as the CFO of an insurance broker in Los Angeles, and the VP, Finance of an aerospace manufacturer. She also ran a small ink manufacturing business in Sydney, Australia.
Peggy received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Accounting from the University of Southern California and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of California. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California CPAs Society and Financial Executives International – O.C. Chapter.
