Donald Myll joined ImpediMed as CFO in November 2009 bringing significant financial and operational leadership experience in the US health care market. Donald Myll is an experienced financial and operations executive whose 28 year career has focused primarily on rapid-growth health care companies. As CFO for both private and public companies, he has served as a member of executive leadership teams that have provided favorable financial returns to investors.
Donald recently served as Sr. Vice President of Commercial Operations & CFO of Ambit Biosciences where he led the commercial operations of this rapidly growing biotechnology services and oncology drug discovery and development company. Prior to Ambit, he served as CFO of AMN Healthcare, the largest nurse staffing provider in the United States.
Encompassing over $2 billion in corporate transactions, Don’s financial leadership has spanned a wide range of transactions, including venture capital equity financings, initial and secondary public equity offerings, private and public debt offerings, long-term lease financings, M&A transactions and turnarounds.
Donald has been recognized as “Entrepreneur of the Year” in the US (sponsored by Ernst & Young and Inc. Magazine) and TheraTx, a leading post-acute health care services company that he co-founded, was recognized as the second fastest growing public company in 1995.
Don received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA and is a Certified Public Accountant.
