Shareholder Communications Policy
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to assist ImpediMed Limited (Company) to maintain best practice in its communications with its shareholders. The policy provides a description of the arrangements the Company has to promote communications with shareholders.In accordance with the Company's Disclosure Policy, the Company discloses all material information to the market as soon as possible. The Company communicates directly with its shareholders on a regular basis during the year, using the following mechanisms.
Annual report
The Company believes it is important to provide effective communication to its shareholders. The Company's annual report is the main vehicle for communicating activities and performance for the previous 12 months. The annual report is posted on the Company's website and can be downloaded.Annual Results
The annual results of the Company are released in August each year and the interim results in February These results are released firstly to the Australian Stock Exchange, and published shortly after on our website. The Company also sends a summary of the Company's financial performance to shareholders at the half year, and again in the annual report for the full year.Annual General Meeting
Shareholders at the annual general meeting are encouraged to ask both the Company and its auditor questions regarding the Company's governance and business. Questions can be submitted electronically before the meeting through the Company's share registry's web site. In addition, the chairman's address to the annual general meeting, a transcript of the meeting and copies of overheads and power point presentations used, are available on the website immediately after the annual general meeting.Continuous Disclosure
The Company's disclosure policy and practices are aimed at ensuring timely access for all investors to company information released under the continuous disclosure rules. These practices include:- information released by the Company, including media releases and investor briefing materials, is first released to Australian Stock Exchange; and
- such information is posted on the Company's website immediately following release to Australian Stock Exchange.
